New systems. New applications. The same engineering discipline.

Four technology areas, developed under one engineering platform.

What we are building

ACE Advanced Systems brings several development programmes together under one platform. Some are at concept stage. Some are in design and analysis. Some are progressing towards prototypes and validation.

What they share is the way they are approached: understand what the structure has to do, then bring materials, structural engineering, simulation, prototyping, manufacturing and testing to bear on it. The pages below describe each area in terms of the problem, the engineering direction and the application. Detailed architecture stays inside ACE.

Unmanned Systems

Modular, lightweight aircraft concepts for long-endurance missions — one airframe family adapted to the job.

Advanced Protection

Lightweight, modular protection developed as a complete structure, including vehicle survivability and overhead protection concepts.

Explore

Transparent Protection

Protective glazing and transparent structures engineered as whole assemblies — frame, sealing, mounting and replacement included.

Advanced Materials & Structures

Composites, thermoplastics, elastomers, hybrid and energy-absorbing materials, chosen for what they do inside a complete system.
